Ash Travel has created a private group for this sailing at a discounted rate. Our group rates are locked in and will stay the same as long as we have cabins available.
Prices are per person with 2 guests in the stateroom. Prices include taxes.
We can set you up with a payment plan to spread the cost out - ask us how!
Deposit and Final:
Ash Travel highly recommends travel protection.
For this cruise, we recommend using MSC's vacation protection. The cost is due when added to your reservation, so we suggest adding this close to the final payment date. This is an optional purchase and can be taken or declined on a per cabin basis. MSC does not include "Cancel for Any Reason" with their policy. Cancelation charges will apply after the final payment date.

Other Common Q & A
Q: How much are gratuities (tips) and when do we pay them?
A: For this sailing, the gratuites will be $96 total for 2 in one cabin. We can pre-pay the gratuities with the final payment or MSC Cruises will automatically add the 'hotel service charge' (gratuities) to your onboard account. This charge covers the crew's service and is typically a flat amount charged per per person and per night. While MSC Cruises encourages the service charge, they do not recommend tipping individual staff members. For cost and more details, click here.
Q: Do I have to have a passport to go on this cruise?
A: U.S. Citizens need either a valid passport, Passport Card, or Proof of U.S. Citizenship (in the form of an original or certified copy of a U.S. birth
Certificate* or an original naturalization certificate) along with an original, valid, unexpired, government issued photo ID**
* Baptismal papers and hospital birth certificates are not acceptable. Puerto Rican birth certificates issued prior to July 1, 2010 are not acceptable
**Voter registration cards or Social Security cards are not considered proof of citizenship.

Q: Why purchase Cruise Protection? (Travel Insurance)
A: Your personal health insurance policy will not work on the cruise ship, and most will not work internationally, Cruise protection will cover the cost of emergency medical care on the ship or in the cruise ports. If an emergency interrupts your trip, it will pay towards the cost of getting back home other than on the ship.
A: Cancelations - the cruise protection has cancelation coverage for emergency/medical reasons. The chart shows the penalty amount that the insurance will cover if you cancel for a valid reason.

If you cancel for a reason not covered by insurance, you will loose the amount listed in the chart above. You can change your sail date up to 30 days before sailing. You can change one name on the reservation up to 8 days before sailing.
Ash Travel can quote a Cancel for Any Reason policy with Allianz Global Insurance. This type policy would need to be purchase close to your deposit date and will be non-refundable. It would be more than double the cost of the MSC policy. Example: We had a client cancel an MSC cruise 11 days before sailing due to a new conflict with work (not covered by MSC insurance), and lost the full cabin and insurance cost. They received a refund for taxes and pre-paid gratuties.
Q: What is the dress code?
A: MSC Cruises offers a flexible dress code, generally encouraging casual attire during the day and more polished options for evening dining and entertainment. While formal attire isn't mandatory, guests are encouraged to dress up for Gala Night and theme parties. Click here for more details.
Q: How much luggage can I bring?
A: Each guest is limited to checking in:
Q: Can I bring drinks/alcohol on the ship?
A: No, MSC Cruises does not permit guests to bring soft drinks or alcohol on the ship.
Q: What if I require a special diet?
A: We will state your requirements on your booking, and your waiter will be aware of this and take care of you.
Q: Do I have to pay for food and drinks?
A: On MSC Cruises, the main dining rooms and buffet restaurants offer complimentary meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. For cruises departing from a U.S. port, an extra $5 charge may apply if you order a second entrée in the main dining room.Additional charges may apply for specialty restaurants and certain premium dining options.
Q: Is there a cost for room service and what can I order?
A: Room service is available any time of the day or night. A modest room service charge may apply. For menus and other details, click here.
Q: Is there a charge for shows?
A: No, attending the main theater shows on MSC cruises is free for guests. However, some shows and activities might require a separate ticket or fee, especially those that are more specialized or unique to certain ships or regions. For example, some shows might have a pre-show entertainment package with a specialty cocktail, which would be an extra cost. Also, some ships have a limited number of seats in the main theater, and reservations might be recommended or required for larger shows, especially on newer ships like the Meraviglia and Seashore.
Q: How do I book a shore excursion?
A: Closer to the cruise date, you can book online with the cruise line. We can answer questions and help with excursions if needed.
Q: What if I don’t have a roommate?
A: We can book a cabin with a second name and change the second name with no problem until a week before the sail date. For the best rate, go ahead and book your cruise with you and 'Mr/Mrs. Smith' traveling with you. Pay the deposit and work on a roommate for now. When your new roommate pays their deposit, we will apply the full amount you paid to your name on the booking.
If you travel solo, you will pay the full cabin price listed above - only saving the taxes for the second person. (about $72 on this sailing)
Q: Can we add a 3rd/4th person to our cabin?
A: Yes. When we book a cabin for 2, we may use a cabin that only holds 2 passengers and is less expensive than a category that is the same size but has a pull-down bed. To add a 3rd/4th person, we may have to move you to a different cabin (that will hold up to 4) and the cost on the first two is a little more, but the cost on the 3rd/4th could be $100+ less. When we average this out, everyone in the cabin pays less. This may not be the case if you deposit on a cabin now, and want to add another person later. Remember – the rooms are small, but the bathroom gets very small when 4 adults need to shower and get ready for dinner at the same time.
Q: What can I purchase on the ship and how do I pay for it?
A: When you do your online check-in, you will enter the credit card that will be used for all purchases on the ship. You will purchase items (gifts, drinks, excursions, etc.) using your room key. You can go to the service desk at any time to see the details/balance of your onboard account. During the cruise, you can have the cruise line apply a cash or credit card payment to your room account. Most commonly, guests will leave the ship without doing anything and the cruise line will apply the charges to your card after the cruise. On the last night of the cruise, each cabin will be given a printout of the charges to review. So, if you review this and see no problem, just allow Royal to charge your card on file and don’t worry about it.
